For 60 years, the Brooklyn Educational Opportunity Center (BEOC) has served as a pathway to opportunity for thousands of Brooklyn residents. Through tuition-free academic programs, career training, and comprehensive student support services, BEOC has helped individuals gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to pursue meaningful careers, higher education, and new possibilities.

As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we honor the students, alumni, educators, partners, and community members who have helped shape BEOC’s legacy. For six decades, BEOC has demonstrated the transformative power of education and the belief that opportunity can change lives.

Arthur. O Eve

Visionary Leader, Education Advocate & Champion of Opportunity

Arthur O. Eve is a lifelong champion of educational opportunity whose vision helped expand access to education for countless New Yorkers. As a former New York State Assemblyman, he dedicated his career to advocating for individuals from underserved and economically disadvantaged communities. His leadership helped establish educational opportunity programs that continue to transform lives across New York State. Today, his legacy remains deeply connected to the mission of BEOC and the belief that education can create a pathway to a brighter future.
