Officers are often called upon to communicate with the public and other law enforcement professionals in a variety of situations and must submit detailed reports regarding observations and incidents. This program offers an introduction to the security environment from a skills-based perspective. Participants learn how to guard, patrol, or monitor premises to prevent theft, violence or infraction of rules.

The content includes an overview of the role of a security officer and provides guidance in identifying and responding to emergency situations and directions on access control. 100% attendance is required in the program.

- Fingerprinting appointment scheduling
- Security guard license application processing assistance
OSHA Site Safety Training Card
Security License Application Fee : $36 (paid by student)
FDNY Fireguard exam: $25 (paid by student)

- Safety and Security Officer

- Construction Site Security (must have a security license)
