Your Rights & Responsibilities

At BEOC, every member of our community has rights and responsibilities.

  • Your personal information is protected by FERPA.
  • We follow ADA and Equal Opportunity policies.
  • Every student must sign the Student Agreement each year to confirm they understand our rules and regulations.

Attendance & Punctuality

Attendance is essential for your success.

  • You must attend all scheduled classes and be on time.
  • Missing more than 20% of a class may result in being dropped, unless your program requires perfect attendance.
  • Arriving late or leaving early disrupts learning-please be present for the full class

Professional Behavior in Class

We expect a respectful and productive learning environment.

  • Follow instructions from instructors, staff, and security.
  • Participate actively and remain focused.
  • Use class time for learning only-side conversations, sleeping, or distractions are not acceptable.
