Approximately 15 weeks
Entry Requirements
- Must be 18+
- Minimum TABE Reading: 576+
- Minimum TABE Math: 596+
- HS Diploma, GED/TASC
Must possess a valid NYS driver’s license without infractions or points.
A limited number of students are allowed to have a NYS driving learner’s permit with proof of an upcoming driving test.

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program prepares individuals to provide basic emergency medical care in pre-hospital settings. Students learn how to assess patients, respond to medical and trauma emergencies, perform CPR, use automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and safely transport patients to healthcare facilities.

- FDNY (Fire Department of New York)
- Hospital emergency departments
- Private ambulance services (e.g., SeniorCare, RCA)
- Urgent care and patient transport services
