Current Students
Student IDs & Building Access
Beginning September 14, 2026, students must present their BEOC Student ID at the designated check-in point before proceeding to class or services.
ID Services are available in room 305 on: Monday: 4:00–6:00 p.m. | Wednesday: 12:00–3:00 p.m.

Requesting a Replacement ID
ID replacements are for those who lost, damaged or need to updated information on their student ID. Follow the steps below based on the type of replacement you need.
Lost/Damaged
- Review the Student ID policy to learn about the expectations and replacement limitations with your student ID
- Complete the ID replacement Request form: Student ID Replacement Request – Fill out form
- Book an appointment with ID services. In the "reason for appointment" box, comment "ID lost or damaged"
- Attend appointment and take picture. At your appointment please be prepared to remove hats, sunglasses, and face coverings briefly while your photograph is taken. Religious and medical head coverings are permitted, but your full face must remain visible.
Updating Name
- Update your name with Admissions by emailing them documentation proving the name change. You can email them at admissions@beoc.cuny.edu
- Wait for confirmation. Once your name has been updated, forward that email to communications@beoc.cuny.edu
- Review the Student ID policy to learn about the expectations and replacement limitations with your student ID
- Complete the ID replacement Request form:Student ID Replacement Request – Fill out form
- Book an appointment with ID services. In the "reason for appointment box", comment "Updating Name"

How To Check-in In While Waiting for Your Student ID
If you have requested a replacement ID or have not yet received your Student ID, follow the steps below to check in and access the building.
Go to the security desk on the first floor at the Boerum Place entrance.
Present your state ID and Banner number to security.
Wait for security to verify your student status. Once verified, you will be granted temporary access for that day.
