Testing Office
BEOC’s Testing Office is responsible for entrance, exit, make-up, retest, referral, and accommodations testing. In addition, this office serves as an official public testing site for the High School Equivalency test. For more information on HSE testing, click here.
TABE PLACEMENT TEST
BEOC uses the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) as a measuring tool for entrance and exit criteria. This test determines program admission and class placement for academic and career programs based on a reading and math assessment.
BEOC uses the TABE 11/12 Locator or the Complete Battery online test, which is a web-based version of the manual TABE 11/12 Complete Battery.
