BEOC partners with local community service agencies, local government and state agencies, to provide services to their participants. These include the following:
Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation (BSRC) – the nation’s first community development corporation, partners with residents and business to improve the quality of life of Central Brooklyn. BEOC is one of BSRC’s partners, providing career training and college readiness activities for BSRC’s referrals.
Brooklyn Public Library Adult Literacy Program – BEOC partners with the libraries through a two-way referral system to the HSE and ESOL programs.
CAMBA – a non-profit agency providing services that connect people with opportunities to enhance their quality of life. Most of CAMBA’s participants live, work and/or attend school in Brooklyn. BEOC and CAMBA collaborate on making two-way referrals for ESOL, HSE and career programs.
NADAP – helps New Yorkers become self-sufficient by providing care coordination, employment, substance use assessment and health insurance enrollment services.

New York City Department of Education District 79/Alternative Schools and Programs – works with a number of schools within the district in serving their mission to provide post-secondary options for their graduates.
New York City Department of Probation- Brooklyn Office seeks to expand opportunities of people on probation, to move them out of the criminal justice system through education, employment, health services, and civic participation. BEOC is a resource for the Office.
New York City Housing Authority, Office of Resident Empowerment and Sustainability supports residents in increasing their income through programs, policy and collaboration. BEOC is an official partner of NYCHA-REES, through it Jobs Plus Initiative, providing education and training.
New York City Human Resources Department/Department of Social Services provides benefits including cash assistance and emergency rental assistance to New York City residents. BEOC is a community partner with HRA for its Career Compass and Youth Pathways programs.
New York State Department of Labor – BEOC is on the Eligible Provider List and New York City Training Guide.
Opportunities for a Better Tomorrow is a program that provides services to out of school unemployed youth and adults. OBT collaborates with BEOC in two- way referrals for academic and workforce development training.
Workforce Opportunity Services (WOS) is an organization that works with youth and veterans through unique work-study programs, and focuses on providing long term career and educational opportunities. WOS provides seminars and workshops on communication and work readiness to BEOC students enrolled in academic and career training.
